Five Things: Public Hearing on School Renovations

SCHOOL RENOVATIONS HEARING: From the Salem School Board: A public hearing will be held in the TV Studio at Salem High School on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. to consider the incurring of indebtedness for the purpose of construction and original equipping of additions and renovations to the Fisk and Soule Elementary Schools, and modest renovations to Haigh School in an approximate total of $16,205,153.

The public hearing also will consider the incurring of indebtedness for the purpose of further modest renovations to Haigh School in an approximate total of $805,237.

3. BUDGET COMMITTEE TO MEET: The committee will once again discuss town warrant articles during a meeting at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
