Former Salem Resident 'Dancing Nana' Visits Ellen DeGeneres Show
Esther Feole has millions of YouTube views. Today, she will be broadcast on national television.
Esther Feole is no stranger to folks watching her dance.
Known around the YouTube world as "Dancing Nana," the 89-year-old woman who resided in Salem for three decades of her life has become a viral phenomenon with her smooth moves.
In fact the hit video, which has netted over 3.4 million views to date, recently earned Feole a ticket to the Ellen DeGeneres show, filmed outside of Los Angeles. The talk show has been on the air since 2003, winning over a dozen Emmy awards and airing over 1,600 episodes.

The episode is set to air today at 4 p.m., according to her granddaughter Chelsey.
Chelsey played a huge role in her nana's rise to the national spotlight. Nana is seen in the short film jiving to "Runaround Sue," a popular song from 1961. Chelsey was responsible for creating the video.

She joined her grandmother out in California for the show's filming.
"Nana was fearless and excited the entire trip," said Chelsey. "She couldn't wait to get to the show to dance and have a blast."
Chelsey has since filmed a few YouTube sequels, offering viewers even more of "Dancing Nana."
