Hedgehog Pond Bacteria Advisory Remains

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services' fecal bacteria beach advisory remains for Hedgehog Pond beach in Salem.

The state, in its most recent update July 23, notes its last sample date was July 18 and the next sample date is July 24 – with new results expected July 25.

Samples collected at the town beach on July 8, July 10 and July 15 exceeded the state standard for fecal bacteria, according to the state DES' beach inspection map.
