Is a Public Safety Complex in Salem's Future?
Voters will be asked in March to rezone the existing police station in case the town decides to sell the property.

The town is looking into the possibility of rezoning the police station property to increase its value in case it is ever sold, according to the Union Leader.
The newspaper said the town is looking into the possibility of a public safety complex at some point in the future. If the town decides to go that route, it might decide to sell the existing police station. Changing the zoning entirely to commercial would allow the town to get more for the property.
