Meet Future Leaders From Salem And Celebrate Their Achievements
Patch and T-Mobile have partnered to highlight young people's academic achievements as they prepare for the future.
SALEM, NH — The future of Salem is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders working hard at college to prepare for the future.
Nina Lira of Salem graduated with a Master of Science, Child Life Studies, from Missouri State University in December 2024. Students who graduated with honors completed at least 30 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
Jenna McDowell of Salem was named to the Dean's List at Emerson College for the Fall 2024 semester. She is majoring in Media Arts Production and is a member of the Class of 2025. Keira Lancia of Salem is majoring in Media Arts Production and is a member of the Class of 2028. She was also named to the Dean's List. To make the Dean's List, students must have a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Lauren Ross of Salem, class of 2025, and Charbel Saouma of Salem, class of 2026, were named to the College of the Holy Cross' Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the Fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Emmanuel College has named four students from Salem to the Dean's List for the Fall 2024 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester. The students named were: Julianna Gigante, an English major; Neena Galvez, who has an undeclared major; Ashley Doherty, a Biology-Health Sciences major; and Matthew Tomamichel, who is a Management major.

Vanessa Rose of Salem, a Class of 2026 student, was named to the dean's list at Tufts University for the fall 2024 semester. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
Brynne Kolbert of Salem has been named to the Fall 2024 Dean's List at Roger Williams University, in Bristol, Rhode Island. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.
