One Dead, One Injured From Electrocution Outside Salem Business: Follow-Up
Landscape workers who were working outside the Service Credit Union on North Broadway appeared to strike an electrical line on Thursday.
SALEM, NH — One person is dead, another seriously injured from an apparent electrocution outside of Service Credit Union on North Broadway in Salem.
Fire and police responded to a report of landscape workers who were seriously injured by an electric shock. Police identified the worker on Friday as Marc Glaser, 45, of Salem. The other worker was transported to Mass. General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, at the time of the incident. They are reportedly in stable condition.
The credit union parking lot and the Mobil station, adjacent to the credit union, were taped off.

Officials say the equipment the person was on made contact with a power line while apparently trimming a tree. Liberty Utilities was at the scene and has shut the power off to the area where the incident appears to have happened.
