Murder Witness Arrested in Salem, Charged as Fugitive
The arrest took place on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

Salem Police arrested a Massachusetts man on Thursday who was believed to have fled to avoid testifying in an upcoming murder trial.
Sean Fenton, 27, of Lawrence, Mass. was arrested at 11:30 a.m. and charged with driving after suspension and as a fugitive from justice.
The driver was found to have a suspended license after a record check as well as national extradition warrants out of the State of Massachusetts.

Those warrants were out of Lynn and Lawrence.
Fenton is a material witness in the muder trial. Police did not give details as to which trial Fenton is involved with.

Fenton was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Salem Police Department. He was later taken to Salem District Court where he was arraigned and then released to the custody of the Massachusetts State Police.
