Narrow Loss Sets Up Winner-Take-All for Salem Little League
The team will take on Rye this Tuesday.
The Salem Little League 12-year-old squad is headed to a winner-take-all game three in their state championship round series against Rye, according to the Union Leader.
The Division I winner Salem will face off against the Division II winner Tuesday at 5:45 p.m. On Sunday, Salem lost by a narrow 2-1 margin.
The winner of Tuesday's game will go on to represent New Hampshire in the East regionals, set to take place from Aug. 2 to Aug. 11 in Bristol, Conn.
The regionals winner heads to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
