NH Children's 'Roar' Video Making National Headlines

The lip-dub video of the Katy Perry hit has been viewed 1.2 million times, and was aired on CNN's "Piers Morgan Live" on Wednesday.

They still haven't heard from Katy Perry herself, but the staff and patients at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock have been getting a ton of attention thanks to their heartwarming YouTube version of Perry's megahit "Roar."

On Wednesday night, two patients and a staff member went on CNN's "Piers Morgan Live" to discuss the lip-dub video. Morgan even sent out a Tweet afterward urging Perry to visit the New Hampshire hospital.

"Come on @katyperry - give those #Roar children's hospital video kids a call! They're amazing."

The hospital is also talking with ABC's "Good Morning America" and "World News With Diane Sawyer" about possible appearances on Friday.

The YouTube video has now surpassed 1.2 million views, and has been featured on websites like the Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, Mashable, the Daily Mail and more.

Nathan Larson, a spokesman for CHaD, said the hospital has received donations from as far away as South Africa since the video went viral, but still hasn't heard from Perry herself. Perry is scheduled to appear on "Good Morning America" on Friday.
