NH Orgs, Fairs Celebrate Arts and Crafts
There's a lot to do around the Granite State this weekend.

Saturday
- Helping Hands. At Griffin Park in Windham at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, the town’s Helping Hand’s Wellness in Motion Walk-A-Thon will be held. Donations start at $10.
- YMCA Craft Fair. The Nashua YMCA holds its annual craft fairat 9 a.m. on Saturday. Admission is free.
- Harvest Fair. The Dr. Crisp School holds its harvest fair, featuring vendors and baked goods, with raffles to benefit the school, at 9 a.m. on Saturday in Nashua.
- Christmas Fair. The Brookside Congregational Church in Manchester is holding its annual fair complete with jewelry, crafts, and food at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
- AARP Day at the Millyard. Seniors get a $3 discount all day Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the popular, historic museum.
- Healing Arts. The Grand Monadnock Healing Arts Festival will be held at the Peterborough Community Center all day Saturday. starting at 10 a.m. Crafts, crystals, art, and music.
- Ciao Italia. Meet famed author Chef Mary Ann Esposito at the Tuscan Market in Salem at 10:30 a.m. for a discussion about Italian cooking and book signing event.
- Meet Archer Mayor. The New England novelist will be meeting with readers at Gibson’s Bookstore in Downtown Concord at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, to talk about his new book, “Three Can Keep a Secret.”
- Pot Roast. St. James United Methodist Church in Merrimack hosts a fundraising supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for seniors; $6 for children.
- Fundraising Auction. The Milford First Congregational Church is holding a fundraising auction at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the parish house. The auction will feature antiques, collectibles, and other items.
- Hey Santa! The Nashua Fire Department will be helping Santaat the Pheasant Lane pajama parade at 6 p.m. on Saturday, in the food court.
- Holiday Shopping. The Studio 550 Community Art Center in Manchester is hosting its first annual cup show and sale, as well as the Women’s Caucus for Art’s panel show at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
- SNOB. The Somewhat North of Boston Film Festival runs throughout the weekend at Concord’s Red River Theatres.
- Les Miserables. The classic musical is being presented by Actorsingers, the community theatre organization in Nashua, this weekend at the Keefe Auditorium.
- Homeless Benefit. Family Promise of Greater Rockingham County will present its first annual evening of thanks and giving at the Atkinson Country Club at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
- Joe Crookston. The strummer, from Ithaca, NY, plays theSimple Gifts Coffeehouse in Nashua at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Find out why he’s becoming an international folk sensation.
- Monkeys With Hammers. The cover band plays your faves from Floyd to Idol at 9 p.m. at The Jade Dragon in Merrimack.

- Charity Breakfast. The Windham Fire Department and the Common Man Restaurant team up for a charity breakfast to assist Windham Helping Hands and the Muscular Dystrophy Association at 9 a.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $12 per adult, $6 for children.
- Fall Concert. The North Main Music School in Nashua fall concert will held at 10 a.m. on Sunday at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry. Tickets are $12; $15 the day of the show.
- Wine and the military. The Gilmanton Winery is celebrating the Marine Corps and veterans at 6 p.m. on Sunday with a military appreciation night. Tickets are $25.
