Joseph D. Antosiewicz, 80, of Swanzey, died June 9, 2025. He worked at the Keene Sentinel for 37 years and retired as the director of production, operations, and finance. He was a member and former president of the Kiwanis Club of Keene. (Foley Funeral Home)

Rebecca Cole, one day shy of her first birthday, of Manchester, died June 13, 2025, in a Manchester accident that also resulted in injuries to her 11-year-old sister. She was killed when a driver struck her and her sister while they were crossing a street with other family members. A 23-year-old Manchester man faces charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and conduct after an accident. Residents have been adding to a growing memorial for her, filled with flowers and balloons, at Lake Avenue and Belmont Street in Manchester, and a candlelight vigil was held for Rebecca last Sunday. A service is Friday, June 20, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home. A graveside service is Saturday, June 21, 2025, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bedford at 11 a.m. (Lambert Funeral Home)

PFC George A. Curley Jr., (1932–1951) of Laconia, who was listed as missing in action for seven decades, has been returned to his hometown for burial. A Korean War hero, he was 18 years old when he was captured and held at a POW Camp near Pyoktong, Korea, in March of 1951. His remains were positively identified on March 3, 2025, and he will be buried with full military honors Saturday, June 28, 2025, in Union Cemetery, Academy Street, Laconia. Calling hours will be held Friday, June 27, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10 a.m., in St. Andre Bessette Parish - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave., Laconia. PFC Curley was the only child of George Arthur Curley Sr. and Almeda May “Ida” Couture of Laconia. They died without knowing the fate of their son’s remains. He will be buried beside them. Thomas Fairbrother Jr., 81, of Meredith, died June 13, 2025. He owned several businesses in Medway, Mass., before moving to Meredith in 1985. He was a longtime member and past president of the Meredith Rotary Club. He co-owned and operated Lakeside Plumbing & Heating with his son, Brian, until his retirement. Dr. James Douglas MacLeod Moore, 81, of Salem, died June 3, 2025. He earned his Ph.D. in nuclear physics and owned and operated Accelerator Systems in Atkinson, designing and building custom electronics for the ion implantation industry. (Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home)

Hilary Adams Pridgen, 78, of Hanover, died June 9, 2025. She and her husband lived in California and New York before settling in New Hampshire. She co-founded The Wooden Spoon, a specialty cookware mail-order company in New York, and ran it for more than a decade with her business partner until it was acquired by Pepperidge Farm in 1989. In Hanover, she operated The Trumbull House Bed & Breakfast. (Knight Funeral Home, White River Junction, Vt.)

Gary W. Rokes, 71, of Winchester, died June 13, 2025. He was owner and operator of Gary’s Power Equipment for 46 years. He was also a part-time Winchester police officer in the 1970s and a Winchester Budget Committee member. (Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel)

George L. Sigalos, 91, of Exeter, died June 11, 2025. He was a pathologist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and after moving to Exeter in 1971, he was a pathologist at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, serving as chief of staff in 1983-84. He founded Path Lab, which offered centralized medical laboratory services across several local hospitals. He and his wife Emily founded The Chocolatier in Exeter in 1978, selling it in 1996. Maurice Armand Thiboutot, 77, of Litchfield, died June 14, 2025. He was owner of Airtech Heating & Air Conditioning for more than 35 years. He was also an accomplished drummer, painter, and woodworker. (Rochette Funeral Home and Cremation Services)
