Nursing Home Employee, Two Others Arrested for Selling Drugs
Undercover drug buys led to the arrests over the past week.
Salem Police have reported that three people were arrested for dealing Rx medication last week, including a nurse at a local nursing home.
According to Deputy Chief Shawn Patten, two of the arrests culminated after brief investigations involving several undercover drug buys of different medications.
He said the third arrest stemmed from only one undercover buy, but since the woman was a nursing home employee, detectives worked quickly to determine if drugs were being stolen from either the home or its residents.
