Salem Police have responded to a water main break this morning that is expected to take hours to fix. According to reports, the incident was reported on Colonial Drive between Dean Avenue and Palomino Road. Multiple homes have been impacted in that area, and it is estimated that those residents will go without water for approximately four hours. The break will take about seven hours to fix. A water company is also on scene. There is no word on the cause of the break at this hour. Salem NH Patch will have more on this story as it develops.
