Raymond Woman Indicted On Theft Charges, Accused Of Stealing From American Legion: Superior Court Roundup

BRENTWOOD, NH — A grand jury in Rockingham County recently indicted the people listed below.

Kate Natalie Bertani, 40, of Captains Way in Exeter, on two felony theft by unauthorized taking charges. She was accused of stealing earrings and-or a pendant and gold and silver flatware and rings valued at more than $1,500 from a home in Exeter between Jan. 1 and March 31.

Scott L. Boody, 60, of Deer Road in Dayton, Maine, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing merchandise from Lowe’s in Salem on April 24. Twice before, according to the indictment, he was convicted on a theft charge.

Barry Edward Booker, 62, of Epping Street in Raymond, on a felony willful concealment charge. He was accused of stealing merchandise from Home Depot in Salem on Feb. 23. Twice before, according to the indictment, Booker was convicted on theft charges.

Yvonne M. Brown, 58, of Lincoln Drive in Raymond on two felony theft by unauthorized taking charges. She was accused of exercising control over more than $1,500 owned by American Legion Post 90 in Raymond between Jan. 1, 2024, and Jan. 9. On Jan. 1, 2024, according to the indictment, Brown took more than $1,500 in deposits from donations and events for her own personal use.

Crista Cardillo, 40, of Tuscan Boulevard in Salem, on a fraudulent use of a credit card charge. She was accused of using a TD Bank credit card, owned by another person, to purchase more than $1,000 in merchandise from Amazon on Dec. 7, 2024.

David Lemay, 51, of Range Road in Belmont, on conspiracy-theft by unauthorized taking and attempted theft by unauthorized taking charges, both felonies. He was accused of stealing merchandise from Home Depot in Salem on March 27 and working with another person to attempt to leave the premises without paying for merchandise. Twice before, according to the indictments, Lemay has been convicted on theft charges.

Christopher David Lemear, 35, of Beech Street in Manchester, on a felony operating while certified as a habitual offender committed while on release. He was accused of driving on Durgin Lane in Portsmouth after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV and while out on bail on April 3.

Michael Allen Lewis, 47, of Nonantum Street in Brighton, Massachusetts, on two felony theft by unauthorized taking charges. He was accused of stealing between $1,000 and $1,500 in merchandise from Lowe’s in Salem on April 25 and removing property from Lowe’s “on multiple dates” between April 7 and April 29.

Li Geng Lin, 58, of 188th Street in Flushing, New York, on felony attempted theft by deception. He was accused of traveling to Seabrook to obtain more than $1,500 in property belonging to another person.

Donald W. Little Jr., 58, of Wood Knoll Drive in North Hampton, on two felony domestic violence-criminal threatening charges. He was accused of holding a gun to another person’s head and stating, “I’m going to f------ kill you,” “I’m going to end this for both of us,” and “You’re going to f------ leave this house one way or another,” or words to that effect, on Jan. 1, 2024, in North Hampton.
