Salem Gets Nearly $359K for Three Bridge Projects
The Eagle Tribune reported the news today.

The town of Salem has received $358,973 in grant money for three bridge projects, according to the Eagle Tribune.
According to the report, the bridge aid will fund $161,726 in design work on Town Farm Road, $103,040 on Bluff Street Extension and $94,206 on Providence Hill Road.
No construction money is included in the grant, and the money is specifically for redesigning bridges.
The town is currently replacing the Bluff Street Bridge, closed on May 20, as well as the Providence Hill Road bridge, which was closed on July 1.
Road detours and work on both bridges are expected to continue until late August.
A sink hole prompted the closure of Teague Drive bridge in June. The town decided to go through the state bridge program to fund the engineering costs to design a new bridge.
