Salem Man Dies at 84 Surrounded by Family

Clarence J. Spinney, 84, of Salem, NH died Tuesday, April 30th at his home, surrounded by his loved ones.

Clarence was born in Haverhill, MA, the son of the late Marion (McPherson) and Bernard Spinney. Clarence loved country music. He especially loved his girlfriend Cheryl. He loved being out in the community and everything Irish.

He was predeceased by his by his brothers, Bernard and Bruce.

Clarence is survived by his sister, Pat and her husband Anthony Longo of Salem, NH and two nephews, Mark and James Longo and his friends at Community Crossroads and Crotched Mountain.

Visitation will be Friday, May 3rd from 10:30 – 11:00 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 11AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Crossroads, 8 Commerce Way, Atkinson, NH.
