LAWRENCE, MA — Police are investigating after a Salem, N.H., man was shot and killed just before midnight New Year's Eve. Wilson Javier, 35, was found with a gunshot wound on Summer Street around 11:49 p.m. Tuesday. Javier was brought to Lawrence General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.No arrests have been made. A spokesperson for Essex County District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett's office said it is too soon to comment on suspects or motive.
