Salem Police Log: Man Trapped Under Lawn Mower

A lawn mower accident and a hacked $40,000 transaction were among incidents reported in the Salem police log for June 10 to June 13.

SALEM, NH — The following items have been selected from the Salem police log for June 10 to June 13. Arrests do not indicate guilt. The names of any minors have been omitted.

Monday, June 10

7:02 a.m. — A man is reportedly walking near Main Street traffic. Police give him a ride to Exit 3.

8:44 a.m. — Wires are down across the roadway at Barron Elementary School. Utility companies are notified.

8:53 a.m. — A two-vehicle accident is reported on Stiles Road. No injuries.

11:57 a.m. — Police give a courtesy ride to a woman who was reported to be unconscious in a vehicle.

2:27 p.m. — Sara N. Cooley, 23, of Candia, is charged with willful concealment after a shoplifting report at Macy's.

8:31 p.m. — Two sisters are physically fighting. Police separate them.

9:01 p.m. — Bianca Marie Deluca, 37, of Salem, turns herself in on two warrants from an outside agency. She is then released to Derry Police Department.

10:22 p.m. — On Main Street, a caller reports that a vehicle drives by his house and throws fireworks in his yard.

Tuesday, June 11

12:48 a.m. — A noise complaint is reported in the area of South Policy Street.

3:25 a.m. — A 911 caller says the alarm at her home is going off and she is worried someone may be trying to break in. Police conduct a walk-through of the home, all appears to be safe.

10:02 a.m. — A hyperdermic needle is found near a telephone pole on East Broadway Street.

10:23 a.m. — At a Manor Parkway gym, several people report their keys were taken out of lockers while working out.

10:46 a.m. — Someone reports a fraudulent $3,000 purchase on their card.

12:29 p.m. — Police check on a vehicle they suspect is related to the thefts from the athletic club, but determine they are not related.

12:40 p.m. — Tarnue Gee, 20, of Concord, is charged with misdemeanor forgery and receiving stolen property valued between $1,001 and $1,500.

3:24 p.m. — Fire officials report that employees at the Ocean State Job Lot are getting sick from a chemical spill. A transport to the hospital is refused.

4:31 p.m. — Allison S. Billings, 48, of Manchester, is arrested on a warrant for four counts of violating a protective order.

5:01 p.m. — Low-hanging wires are reported on Highland Avenue.

6:44 p.m. — Three men are reportedly fighting near Market Basket.

7:02 p.m. — Police remove wood debris off the side of the road on North Broadway Street near Range Road.

9:38 p.m. — A noise complaint is reported on North Main Street.

Wednesday, June 12

12:01 a.m. — An assault from earlier in the night is reported in the Police Station lobby.

10:43 a.m. — Alan Chen, 33, of Brooklyn, New York, is charged with theft by deception of property valued at more than $1,500.

12:28 p.m. — A two-vehicle accident is reported near the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Lawrence Road. No injuries.

12:53 p.m. — A two-vehicle accident is reported near Walmart. No injuries.

1:43 p.m. — A two-vehicle accident with no injuries is reported at Main and North Main streets.

3:31 p.m. — Marcus R. Patterson Jr., 20, of Salem, is arrested on a bench warrant.

5:08 p.m. — On Aspen Street, a man is trapped from the waist down under his lawnmower. The Fire Department arrives, he is freed. The lawnmower is towed.

7:03 p.m. — Shoplifting at Walmart is reported.

7:31 p.m. — Mary Herbert, 57, of Salem, is charged with disorderly conduct, harassment and criminal mischief.

7:50 p.m. — Tyler W. White, 21, of Salem, is charged with disorderly conduct.

Thursday, June 13

1:31 a.m. — Alexander Raymond Guigni, 20, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, is arrested on a bench warrant.

7:24 — A hit-and-run is reported near BJ's.

10:14 a.m. — A transaction of $40,000 was reportedly sent to the wrong person after an email is hacked.

10:32 a.m. — A rollover vehicle accident is reported on East Broadway Street. A woman is transported to Parkland hospital in Derry. A utility pole is almost split. The road is closed to traffic. Some houses evacuated due to the pole being compromised.

11:16 a.m. — A door-to-door salesman is selling Kirby vacuum cleaners in the area of Millville Road and Route 28.

11:29 a.m. — A delivery driver reportedly hits a vehicle in a parking lot on South Broadway Street. Minor damage.

12:34 p.m. — A truck takes down wires in a South Broadway Street parking lot.

7:20 p.m. — Two women are reported shoplifting at Walmart. Derry police is notified, as the vehicle's license plate comes back out of Derry.

8:06 p.m. — Police check on a man reportedly hiding in the bushes on Brook Hollow Drive.
