Salem Wedding Ends In Choking, K-9 Search, Arrest: Police
Salem police said wedding guest Colby Dion, of North Andover, Massachusetts, was arrested after choking an individual at the reception.

SALEM, NH — A Salem wedding on Sunday ended with a guest being choked and another under arrest, according to police. Colby Dion, 24, of North Andover, Massachusetts, was charged with domestic violence and resisting arrest. Police said the incident happened at Sayde’s Bar and Grill on Cluff Crossing Road at about 8:30 p.m.
Police said officers responded to a report of a fight "involving several people described as wearing suits and dresses."
"Upon arrival, officers learned an assault had taken place inside the establishment during a wedding reception," Salem police said in a statement. "Several of the guests confronted the suspect who ultimately fled on foot into nearby woods. The guests said the male had choked another guest at the party and the victim had injuries consistent with being choked."

Officers set up a perimeter and launched a search with K-9 "Trigger." Dion was located within "minutes," police said.
Dion was released on $1,000 bond pending an arraignment Monday in Salem District Court.
