Stabbing At Mall At Rockingham Park In Salem Being Investigated

SALEM, NH — Salem Police and Fire were dispatched to the area outside the food court at the Mall at Rockingham Park for a reported stabbing Thursday night just after 8 p.m.

Radio broadcasts said they were requesting the availability of a Med-Flight for an approximately 20-year-old man with a stab wound to the abdomen.

A few moments later, Med-Flight was canceled, and the victim was transported to Lawrence General Hospital with two paramedics working on the victim.

Police, according to scanner traffic, had several witnesses, and they were looking for a dark-colored Kia that left the scene with several occupants. The vehicle was listed at an address in Manchester.

This is an active investigation with a heavy police presence in the area.
