Teenager Arrested for Theft at Sears

JANUARY 1, 2012

10:57 a.m. Theft is reported at 51 Pelham Road. A plow is reportedly stolen from one of the trucks.

12:58 p.m. Suicide attempt is reported. Man is transported to the hospital after calling saying he was feeling suicidal.

3:47 p.m. Suspicious person is reported on Pattee Road. Caller reports a male subject wearing a green puffy jacket and a black ski mask type hat. The man reportedly threw three pens into her driveway and took off running full speed down Pattee in the direction of Messer Road. The individual was not located.

5:31 p.m. Motor vehicle accident is reported  at 35 Veteras Memorial Parkway and 1 Freedom Drive. No injuries reported but the parkway was closed due to a pole and wires being across it. Subject was transported to Holy Family Hospital by Salem Fire.

6:02 p.m. Alfred K. Kimani Jr., 18, of 37 Katherine St. in Lawrence, Mass. is arrested at Sears on 99 Rockingham Park Blvd. and charged with willful concealment – theft. Bail was set at $500 personal recognizance.
