Two Salem Businesses Caught Selling Tobacco to Minors

Gas stations on North Broadway and Main Street recently committed violations.

Two Salem businesses have been cited for selling tobacco products to minors during compliance checks performed by the New Hampshire Liquor Commission.

The Mobile station owned Energy North at 135 North Broadway, and R and J Getty, located at 162 Main Street, each failed compliance checks on Sept. 27, according to the liquor commission, which discussed the matter during a meeting Wednesday.

Each business was issued a verbal warning and is required to have a manager attend a management training seminar within 90 days of the date of the violation.
