Massachusetts drivers. A few miles north of the state border and those two words occasionally take on a negative connotation. A new study suggests Mass. drivers, and Boston in particular, are getting a bad rap.
An investigation by Slate found Boston didn't even crack the top five U.S. cities with the worst drivers. Those five were, from fifth to worst: Baltimore, Tampa, Hialeah, Philadelphia, and ... drum roll ... Miami.
Slate reported:
"Boston drivers don't deserve the torment they receive. They have few automotive fatalities and rarely kill people in alcohol-related accidents. It goes to show how flawed opinion polls can be."
