Who Do You Think Deserves a 'Hero' Award?

The American Red Cross is seeking nominations for the annual New Hampshire Heroes Breakfast.

American Red Cross New Hampshire Region is currently seeking nominations for the 2014 Heroes Breakfast. 

American Red Cross New Hampshire and Heroes Breakfast Title Sponsor Unitil Corporation, join service areas nationwide in this signature event that recognizes and honors outstanding individuals or groups in the state of New Hampshire. 

These people have made a difference in the lives of others by performing acts of courage, or selflessly giving their time and efforts in order to benefit others. From all walks of life, these heroes are proof that one person can make a significant and positive impact on the wellbeing of others.

“Too often local heroes go unnoticed. The Red Cross in New Hampshire wants to recognize and honor these individuals,” said Maria White, CEO of American Red Cross New Hampshire. “We are pleased to honor these heroes at our Heroes Breakfast for their generosity, caring deeds and commitment to our NH community. We could not honor these heroes without the generous sponsorship and support of companies, such as Unitil, who is our 2014 Heroes Breakfast Title Sponsor and Corporate Partner for this event.”

Any member of the community is encouraged to provide nominations of heroes during the year, from which a committee selects approximately five heroes.  To nominate your local hero, please visit redcross.org/nh and submit your nomination by December 2nd.  The 2014 Heroes Breakfast will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 7:30 am to 9:00 am at Southern New Hampshire University’s Dining Center Conference Facility, located at 2500 North River Road, Manchester, NH 03104.
