Woman Charged With Heroin Possession and Transport

Amy-Jo Currier, 25, of Concord was arrested last week.

A Concord woman was arrested in Salem on Jan. 9 and charged with Heroin possession, according to Salem Police.

Amy-Jo Currier, 25, was charged with possession of a controlled drug (Heroin–FEL) and transportation of a controlled drug (Heroin).

Officers were in the area conducting surveillance of the Red Roof Inn of a female suspect known to Salem Police as a suspect in the July 2011 robbery of Pentucket Bank in Salem.

Currier was stopped in her vehicle for multiple vehicle infractions, where officers observed a baggie of Heroin.

Several more baggies of Heroin, $940 in cash and two cell phones were also seized from the vehicle after Currier was taken into custody.

She was processed and later posted $600 cash bail and was released.
