Athletes Sport Green to Back Former Teammate's Cancer Battle
Recent WHS graduate CJay DiPrima has finished four months of chemotherapy and will now move on to radiation treatment.
Former teammates, coaches and even family were wearing high green socks Tuesday to support a recent Windham graduate who was diagnosed around Christmas with a rare form of cancer.
CJay DiPrima was in attendance at a track meet against Pelham High School to witness all of his peers rally behind his cause.
According to both his father Chuck, CJay was an amazing two-sport athlete who planned on playing football and running track at Franklin Pierce.

Since his diagnosis, CJay's whole outlook has changed. He now wants to be closer to home where he can go to school locally.
After doctors found a baseball-sized mass in CJay's chest following a CT scan last year, he was later diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma called "grey zone" lymphoma (stage 2). The green symbolizes his form of cancer.
