Books Come to Life at Simon Kidgits Club Book Blast
Children and Parents can make Reading a Social Experience with Special In-Mall Activities
On Saturday, March 7th, the Simon Kidgits Club® at The Mall at Rockingham Park is hosting its annual Book Blast event from 11AM – 1PM in Lord & Taylor Court on Level 2 and inviting parents and children to bring books to life through special read-aloud sessions, giveaways and story-inspired activities.
Simon is also teaming up with Better World Books to provide each child who attends the event a pre-loved book and bookmark to take home, while supplies last.
Simon Kidgits Club’s Book Blast will provide families the chance to make reading a fun, social experience with various kid-focused offerings. Book Blast event activities will include celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday with exciting read-aloud sessions of stories by the beloved kids’ author. Children are also invited to bring a new or gently used book to the event to be donated to a local charity, helping families give back to their own communities. Additional crafts will include sticker scenes, coloring, make-your-own Cat in the Hat snack, and more! The event will be sponsored locally by Collins Dentistry for Children.
