Close to 100 Vendors to Participate in Holiday Shopping Event
Participants will benefit local charities and WHS athletic programs/clubs.

This week, the town announced the first annual "Windham Holiday Shopping Extravaganza," which will feature almost 100 vendors and will benefit several charities and athletic programs in the community.
The Dec. 1 event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Windham High School.
The organizations that will benefit from the event include Windham Helping Hands, Family Promise of Greater Rockingham County, Windham Baseball Softball League, Shepherd's Pantry and many WHS sports teams and clubs.

Those who want to reserve a spot at the shopping event have until Nov. 16 to do so, but the Community Development Department is asking businesses to register right away since there is limited space.
There will also be holiday music, face painting for kids, Christmas tree sales and on-site babysitting.

Attached is a detailed registration form to sign up for the event, which includes information on table sizes and the event raffle.
Non-traditional retailers are also asked to think outside the box, such as selling gift certificates for services.
