Education Liaison for Cornerstone Coming to Windham
A meeting will take place on Oct. 9.

From the Southern N.H. 9-12 Project
Our most precious resource is our children. The education they receive is the foundation of our future. There have been many changes in education curriculum across the country and around the world. Our country's academic ranking should be at the top, but unfortunately that is not the case.
You are invited to learn more about how our children are being taught by one of NH's most knowledgeable education experts, Ann Marie Banfield. She will discuss/compare many of the different programs that are being implemented in schools across our state, country and around the world, including Singapore Math vs. Everyday Math, International Baccalaureate (IB), Common Core Standards and Outcome Based Education (OBE).
Mrs. Banfield is the Education Liaison for Cornerstone Action, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving New Hampshire’s traditional values, limited government, and free markets through education, information, and advocacy. Working with experts in education from across the country, she has accumulated a vast knowledge of our education system. She is also working with legislators in Concord, and advocating for educational policy that focuses on the most important aspects of educating our children, and she will share her valuable insight into the problems and successes of our current education system.
The meeting is being hosted by the Southern NH 9.12 Project, and will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, October 9th at the Windham Senior Center, 2 North Lowell Road, Windham. The meeting is free and open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
