Feedback Sought for Hazard Mitigation Plan
The public is encourages to review the plan and give comments by Nov. 14.

A Draft of the proposed Windham Hazard Mitigation Plan is now available for public viewing. The plan, developed by the Rockingham Planning Commission and participation from the Town of Windham Emergency Management Team, contains the tools necessary to identify specific hazards, and aspects of existing and future mitigation efforts. Types of disasters addressed include: flooding, hurricane, severe winter weather, wildfires, and earthquake events.
The Draft Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan may be viewed on the town website: www.windhamnewhampshire.com or viewed at any town office.
The public is encouraged to review the plan and provide comments and feedback so that these ideas can be taken into consideration prior to the finalization of the draft. The final plan will be presented to the Board of Selectmen for adoption by the Town.
