Fired Cop Impersonated Officer On I-93: NH State Police

NH State Police said Brandon Walker was arrested during a traffic stop on Interstate 93 in Windham.

WINDHAM, NH -- A New Hampshire police officer fired for an alleged assault was arrested again this week. Brandon Walker, 42, of Pittsfield, was charged with impersonating an officer during a traffic stop on Interstate 93 in Windham Tuesday night. He was released on bond.

New Hampshire State Police Sgt. Mark Hall said a trooper pulled Walker over at about 11 p.m. for defective equipment on his vehicle. Walker presented the trooper with police identification indicating he was a Pittsfield police officer, Hall said.

Walker did serve as a Pittsfield police officer but was fired last year after being charged with assault and domestic violence, according to the Union Leader.
