Five Things: Meet State Rep Candidates
Volunteer needed for audit firm selection process.

1. TODAY'S FORECAST: Today will be mostly sunny, with a high of 62. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low of 46.
2. AUDIT FIRM SELECTION PROCESS VOLUNTEER NEEDED: From the town of Windham: The Town of Windham is seeking a resident to participate on the committee established to interview Independent Audit firms for a three-year contract to conduct the Town of Windham’s annual financial audit. The resident will join a member of the Board of Selectmen, the Town Administrator and Assistant Town Administrator in interviewing the two finalists selected, and recommend one finalist to be presented to the full Board of Selectmen for consideration. The Town conducts a qualifications-based selection process in which interviews are conducted based on technical proposals submitted by the firms. Cost proposals are opened after the interviews are conducted. The resident member will need to be available for the afternoon of Friday, November 2, 2012 for scheduled interviews, as well as potentially one other meeting with the committee prior to making a recommendation to the Board. Interested residents should contact David Sullivan, Town Administrator at 432-7732, by Monday, October 29, 2012 at 4 PM.
3. CANDIDATES NIGHT: All eight candidates for state representative have been invited to a candidates night moderated by James Pindell of WMUR. The event will take place at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
