POLITICIANS IN DERRY: Paul Ryan will campaign on Saturday morning at Pinkerton Academy, but according to the Mitt Romney campaign, the event is separate from the state GOP convention, also scheduled for Pinkerton Academy. The convention will see Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker as the keynote speaker. We will have coverage of both events.

3. PINK ON THE GREEN CHARITY EVENT RESCHEDULED: The Pink on the Green charity event at Windham Country Club scheduled for today is being moved to the spring, according to the Facebook page for the event.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY:  On September 28, 1991, jazz trumpet legend Miles Davis dies in a California hospital at the age of 65.

5. VIDEO GAME NIGHT: The Jaguar Community Alliance will sponsor a video game night at WHS this evening. The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in rooms G307, G311 and G318.
