2. PLANNERS TO TALK TOWN WARRANT: The Planning Board will review town warrant with legal council tonight during a 7 p.m. meeting at the Community Development Department.

3. TOUGH ON GUNS: New York has passed the toughest gun control laws in the nation. The passage is the first since the Newtown, CT massacre. Learn more about the strict regulations here.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: The 18th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, prohibiting the "manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors for beverage purposes," is ratified on this day in 1919 and becomes the law of the land.
