1. TODAY'S FORECAST: Anticipate showers and heavy wind throughout the day and night as Windham will feel some of the impact of Hurricane Sandy hitting shore. Those winds could get as high as 35 mph, with a high of 59 during the day and low of 55 at night.
2. BOARD OF SELECTMEN TO MEET: As of now, the Windham Board of Selectmen are still scheduled to meet at the regular time of 7 p.m. Keep up with the Windham Patch Facebook page or town website in case the meeting gets postponed or cancelled.
3. MITT AND ANN ARE OFF: Scheduled appearances today for Ann Romney in Manchester and Derry have been cancelled due to the storm. Husband and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney has also cancelled his Tuesday appearance in Milford.

5. SCHOOL CANCELLED: There will be no school in the district today due to the storm.
