Five Things: School Board Personnel Matter
Also, a shakeup on the Windham Board of Selectmen

1. TODAY'S FORECAST: A winter weather advisory is in effect until 4 p.m. Expect snow during the morning and mostly cloudy conditions during the afternoon. A high of 24 is expected during the day with a bitter low of 2 tonight.
2. NON-PUBLIC MEETING ON PERSONNEL: The Windham School Board will meet tonight at 6 in non-public regarding personnel. The board has previously indicated that it would like to have a new superintendent chosen in January. Finalists Winfried Feneberg and Dr. Richard Bergeron are currently up for the position. The board has not indicated whether the discussion will be regarding the filling of that position.
3. BOARD OF SELECTMEN SHAKEUP: The Board of Selectmen will definitely have a new member in March, as Bruce Breton will not seek re-election due to reported health reasons. One resident vying to fill Breton's seat is local businessman Al Letizio, Jr, who announced his candidacy on Monday.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1998, in a Sacramento, California, courtroom, Theodore J. Kaczynski pleads guilty to all federal charges against him, acknowledging his responsibility for a 17-year campaign of package bombings attributed to the "Unabomber."
