Five Things: Storm Causes Dozens of Crashes

1. TODAY'S FORECAST: This afternoon will have a much different look than yesterday's storm with partly cloudy skies and a high of 41. Tonight could get very cold with cloudy skies and a low of 9.

2. STORM CAUSES DOZENS OF CRASHES: State police reported that yesterday's storm caused 67 vehicle crashes and 65 vehicles off the road, with a high volume of those coming on the various New Hampshire highways. See more on Nashua Patch.

3. WINDHAM GOP ELECT NEW LEADERS: The Windham Republican Town Committee elected Bruce Breton as its new chairman this week. Former Rep. David Bates was elected as vice chairman. Learn more here.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1950, 11 men steal more than $2 million from the Brinks Armored Car depot in Boston, Massachusetts. It was the perfect crime--almost--as the culprits weren't caught until January 1956, just days before the statute of limitations for the theft expired.

5. BOEING 787 GROUNDED: The Federal Aviation Administration has ordered all Boeing 787 Dreamliners to be grounded after a series of battery and fuel system failures. Learn more here.
