2. CD2 DEBATE TONIGHT: Squaring off in a District 2 debate tonight will be U.S. Rep. Charles Bass (R-NH) and his Democratic opponent Ann McLane Kuster. The event will take place at 8 p.m. at St. Anselm College. It will immediately follow the District 1 debate.
3. BRING DEBRIS TO MARBLEHEAD ROAD LANDFILL ON SATURDAY: Residents are advised that, in response to debris/damage resulting from Hurricane Sandy, the Town’s yard waste disposal hours have been extended. The site, located at the old landfill on Marblehead Road, will be available to residents every Saturday in November. Hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and accepted materials include:

Compost: Leaves, grass clippings, wood chips or mulch, hay or straw
Brush: Nothing over 8 inches in diameter or 4 feet in length.

No stumps, plastic bags, pots/containers, or metal of any kind will be accepted at the drop-off. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Highway Agent at 603-216-5676.
4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: President Ronald Reagan signs a bill in the White House Rose Garden designating a federal holiday honoring Martin Luther King, Jr., to be observed on the third Monday of January.
5. THREE DAYS OF PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES AWAIT: Saturday through Monday, there will be appearances in New Hampshire from Mitt Romney, President Barack Obama and then again from Mitt Romney. Obama will appear with former President Bill Clinton in Concord on Sunday morning at the corner of School Street and Main Street. Doors will open at 7:00 a.m. Tickets can be found here.
Romney will host a rally at Portsmouth International Airport in Newington on Saturday. Doors will open at 6:30 a.m.
He will then take part in a final rally on Monday with Kid Rock at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
