Town officials and employees paid a visit to the Black Moose Country Store on Oct. 20 for an open house event. The new business is located in the Cobbett's Pond Plaza and features penny candy, linens, seasonal items and other unique gifts. Community Development Director Laura Scott issued a statement after the open house: <blockquote> The Windham Economic Development Committee and Community Development Department want to welcome Black Moose Country Store to Town.  Today's Open House was filled with wonderful gift ideas, home decorating trends and yummy seasonal refreshments.  We wish you the best of luck and know that we will be in again soon to do some more shopping </blockquote>
