Man Indicted on Kidnapping, Burglary Charges
Luis Carvalho was charged with breaking into a Windham home in April.

The Eagle Tribune reported today that a Taunton, Mass. man was recently indicted on six charges in connection with a home invasion that took place in April.
According to the paper, Luis Carvalho, 31, faces charges of kidnapping, burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. Those are Class A felonies punishable by seven and a half to 15 years in state prison. The report also said that he was charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a firearm, each Class B felonies punishable by three and half to seven years in prison.
Following the April incident, police said that Carvalho was reportedly with another man when he entered a woman's home on 5 Glance Road around 12:30 a.m. According to the woman, the two suspects entered the house and struggled with her before tying her up.

Both suspects fled the scene when police arrived. The second suspect is still at large.
