The annual Memorial Day parade and ceremony is scheduled to take place this morning in Windham. The event will kick off with the parade at 9:30 a.m., starting at Windham Center School The parade will head down Lowell Road, turning on Cobbett's Pond Road before finishing at Cemetery on the Plain, located on Ministerial Road. A ceremony will follow in the cemetery. The event is organized annually by Windham's American Legion Post 109. There will also be an ice cream social and free popsicles at the conclusion. All are welcome to attend the event.
