Men Fought Off by Windham Woman During Burglary Indicted
The 68-year-old neighbor confronted one of the suspects in the driveway after they attempted to flee the scene.

Two men who attempted to rob a house on West Shore Road before being fought off by a neighbor with a broom were indicted this month in Rockingham Superior Court.
Robert Patrick Dalton IV, 36, of 21 Reservoir St. in Lowell, Mass. is being charged with robbery, burglary (principle/accomplice) and conspiracy to commit burglary.
Also with him at the time of the incident was Vietnam Dang, 34, of 8 Cortland St. Apt. 3 in Worcester, Mass. who is being charged with burglary (principle/accomplice), attempted burglary, and conspiracy to commit burglary.

Dalton faces the robbery charge due to his use of physical force on Katherine Reader, the neighbor who witnessed the robbery taking place from her window and came over to investigate.
The incident, which took place on Feb. 21, was called in to Windham Police by Reader.

Prior to calling she had learned that the men had forced their way into the home.
Reader confronted Dalton in the driveway, which was when he allegedly threw her to the ground and entered his vehicle parked in the driveway.
But according to Windham Police, the two men didn't get very far after they backed the vehicle into a snow bank and got it stuck.
Dalton was apprehended at the scene attemptin to free the vehicle. Dang fled on foot and was later located by police.
