
A 2-alarm fire on Meetinghouse Road early Monday morning has left a local family homeless.
The fire broke out just before 2 a.m. at 2 Meetinghouse Road, according to emergency radio broadcasts. Flames were reportedly showing from the 2-story building.
The blaze was knocked down quickly, but there was extensive damage to the home, and the American Red Cross was called in to assist and help find temporary housing for the family that lived there.
