As the Pelham-Windham SAU split draws closer, <a href="http://www.eagletribune.com/newhampshire/x730435123/Pelham-seeks-bond-for-SAU-offices" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the Eagle Tribune reported today </a>that Pelham has a backup plan should voters not support a warrant article calling for renovations to Pelham Town Hall to relocate SAU 28 offices. The paper reported that leasing office space would cost about $80,000 per year for 10 years. Should the Town Hall renovations pass, Windham has previously offered to house the new Pelham school administrators until the Town Hall renovations are complete. The split is scheduled to take effect on July 1, with Windham being renamed SAU 95.
