Top Stories of 2013: Voters Nix Almost Entire School Ballot
Longtime school board member also lost seat during election.

We've compiled a short list of the top three Windham Patch stories, by traffic, in 2013. The following is a brief recap of one such story.
Less than 3,800 Windham voters cast ballots during the 2014 March elections, but the that vocal minority left no doubt where they stood on the potential for increased taxes.
Voters not only rejected a $31 million bond item for a new school and a accompanying turf field, but also warrant articles for a teacher contract and the operating budget.
Dr. Bruce Anderson, a three-term member of the board who served the district during the adoption of Windham's first high school, also lost his seat during the election.
