WMUR reported that the trial for Windham bank robber Clint Pickering started today as he faces numerous charges including second-degree assault of a Windham police officer.
According to the article, the opening defense has centered around Pickering not being identifiable as the driver who ran over Officer Jason Dzierlatka's left foot. The prosecution also called its first witness, a woman who saw the robbery and got the license plate of the vehicle.
