Urgent Care Center Launch Date Set

Windham's first urgent care facility is on its way, and ahead of schedule according to Max Puyanic, one of the lead investors who has driven the project from the start.

ConvenientMD, located off the Interstate 93 exit will host a grand opening event on Dec. 5 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Visitors will receive the opportunity to meet the medical team and get a tour of the facility.

Puyanic and his business partner Gareth Dickens originally targeted an end-of-year date for the ConvenientMD opening.

The project received final approval from Windham's Planning Board on May 16, making for a turnaround of just under seven months.

The day before the grand opening, a Boys & Girls Club event will take place at the facility. 

Kids will be invited in where they will primarily learn how some of the equipment works in the building. They will also learn the roles of some of the professionals on the ConvenientMD staff.

The building erected to house the urgent care center also has office space as well as an area for retail and a forthcoming cafe.
