Violent Windham Felon Arrested On Gun, Assault, Other Charges
Deion Ferrone, a felon due to drug, threat, dangerous weapon charges since 2016, is facing strangulation, assault, and firearm charges.

WINDHAM, NH — Police in Windham have arrested a local felon on numerous charges after a woman reported being repeatedly assaulted in town.
On Monday, police took a report from the family member of a woman who claimed she was assaulted repeatedly between Friday and Sunday, according to an affidavit. The woman brought her family member in to meet with the police and the reporting officer observed "multiple bruising" on her face.
The woman accused Deion Ferrone, 24, of Juniper Road in Windham, of assaulting her beginning around 3 p.m. on Friday, punching her, grabbing her by the hair, and choking her, the affidavit said. She reported losing consciousness and continuously grasping for air, the report said.

The next day, Ferrone accused the woman of "ruining another day and stated that she would need to be punished," the report said, and began threatening and choking her again. The victim attempted to calm him down but he began to get angry and "grew argumentative out of nowhere," and punched her in the side of the head, the affidavit said.
Ferrone later pointed a silver revolver at her face and threatened to kill her, she said, and "attempted to hit her with it." She blocked the blows with her hand, the report said.
After several hours, the victim told Ferrone she had to leave because she needed to get up early for work the next day and he let her leave, the report said.
On Sunday, the victim received "numerous text messages" from Ferrone threatening to shoot and stab her, the affidavit said.
The officer looked at the messages, took photos of the woman's injuries, and issued an arrest warrant. Ferrone was picked up by Derry police.
Ferrone was arrested on Tuesday on first-degree assault with a firearm, two counts of second-degree assault-domestic violence-strangulation, felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, criminal threatening-deadly weapon, and criminal restraint charges, all felonies, as well as two counts of domestic violence-simple assault and criminal threatening-domestic violence charges. He was held on preventative detention.
Ferrone is due back in Rockingham County Superior Court on March 18.
Ferrone is a felon due to a felony drug charge conviction in February 2016 after an incident in Windham. In December 2016, he was accused of assault by a prisoner, criminal threatening, and other charges at the Rockingham County Jail but the charges were nolle prossed later. He was also found guilty on criminal threatening-deadly weapon and reckless conduct-deadly weapon charges in December 2018 after an incident in Manchester where he agreed to a plea deal. An attempted first-degree assault charge was dropped in that case.
