When is Trick-or-Treating in Windham this Week?

Here are six things you should know this week in Windham!

1. Don't forget your candy! Barring unforeseen circumstances (see 2011 & 2012) the 2013 Windham Trick-or-Treat hours take place from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31

2. Help someone stay warm this fall and winter! The Woman’s Club coat and sweater drive is Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m, at Windham Town Hall. Coats and sweaters are needed for men, women and children. Collection boxes also are at Shaw’s and Nesmith Library.

3. Busy women > holiday madness. “Energize Your Holidays: Self-Care Essentials for Women,” a class to help women deal with the busy holiday season, starts Tuesday. 4. The weatherman says ... Today's forecasted high, according to Weather.com, is 56 degrees with mostly sunny skies and a 0-percent chance of rain. The overnight low is 27 degrees.

5. Dance for a cause! A dinner, dance and auction benefitting Windham Endowment will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, at 6:30 p.m. at Promises To Keep in Derry. Tickets are $75 for the “Unmask the Magic” event. For more information, call 490-6898 or visit windhamendowment.org.

6. On the agenda. The Windham Planning Board meets Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m.
