WHS Christmas Choir Concert set for Today

Here are five things you should know today in Windham.

1. Christmas Concert! The WHS band performed last night, but the WHS Christmas Choir Concert will take place on today, with performances by the Concert Choir, Honors Chamber Choir, and the A Cappella Choir. Read full details here.

2. The weatherman says ... Today's forecasted high, according to Weather.com, is 23 degrees with a 0-percent chance of snow and sunny skies throughout the day. The overnight low is 15 degrees.

3. Christmas at the Crossing ... will be held two weekends in a row, Friday the 13th & Saturday the 14th, and the next weekend, Friday the 20th & Saturday the 21st, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The holiday festivities will take you on a scenic ride of Crossing LIFE Church, during which visitors will be able to enjoy wonderful seasonal scenes, Christmas lights and decorations, ending with free hot cocoa and other goodies at our fire pit! 4. Get your VIP horse-drawn sleigh ride. In addition to the aformentioned Christmas at the Crossing event, the church is also offering VIP Horse Drawn Sleigh/Hay Rides (weather dependent) for up to six people for $150. You may call in advance to reserve this option at our Crossing LIFE Church Office (603-965-1365).

5. Get your pet's photo with Santa! Family pets are invited to join in the holiday fun at Mall of New Hampshire and the Mall at Rockingham Park and have their own turn on Santa's lap on Mondays in December. This is the purr-fect chance to capture a moment of your pet celebrating Christmas cheer!
